Year 8 Elements

Today year eight pupils put items in their time capsules, to leave behind their leagacy on planet Earth.  Pupils had made collages to show what is important to them and what it’s like to be a child in 2017. They also created collages to represent Barnsley and Great Britain in 2017. We buried our time capsule outside.

Year 8 Elements

Today pupils went on a treasure hunt. They had to solve and find clues that led them to the treasure. The treasure was a time capsule from WW2. Pupils discussed why people bury time capsules. They decided they wanted to bury their own time capsule to leave behind a legacy on planet Earth when they have to go and live in space.
