As part of kindness week, we had a kindness circle time in Springwell@Forest. We talked about kindness, nominated people who were kind to us and made recipes for kindness. Springwell@Forest are a kind class!
We made pizza this morning, they smell gorgeous.
Primary 3 have been learning about the importance of Armistice Day and why we remember. Today we have done art work inspired by this.
Our TAs are having fun on Brick Club training.
Class 3 have collected autumn leaves. We then painted their backs and printed onto card. Can you see the different leaf shapes? Finally we glued some autumn Leaves onto of our printing. Very seasonal.
In our “Heart Space” we held restart a heart day.
Our visitors taught our KS3 and KS4 pupils how to administer CPR.
This is a great skill and can save lives. Well done to all the pupils who had a go and thank you to the trainers.
Primary 3 have designed, drawn and are now painting life size superheroes.
We have spread out across the classroom because the paintings are so big!
We imagined we were spies trying to find out about Mexico with images. We then put some into Pic Collage and drew the binocular frames in preparation for own art next week.
This week, Jack and primary 3 have been writing their own ghost story.
Next half term Primary 3 will be selling ice cream and ice pops to raise money for Refugee Council.
