Over the the past two weeks year 8 pupils have been learning about keeping healthy and having a healthy mind. They have completed various activities around healthy eating, exercise and how to stay positive. They also had fun making fruit smoothies and evaluating their opinion on taste and colour.

Here in Primary 4 we’ve been learning how to decorate cakes with funny faces. All for Red Nose Day!



Y11 visit to Aston Academy

What a brilliant day at Aston Academy! After a fantastic morning of playing sports in their spectacular sports hall, we had the privilege of meeting Peter Scantlebury who has represented England playing basketball. At the 2006 commonwealth games, the England national team won a bronze medal!

Netherwood AA Barnsley to Sheffield Triathlon Challenge #RedNoseDay2015

Netherwood5Netherwood3Netherwood 1This morning Netherwood AA have taken part in a triathlon challenge, where each pupil have completed 1k on the treadmill, 1k on the rowing machine and finally 1k on the bike. The distance accumulated by the pupils was equivalent to the pupils travelling from Barnsley to Sheffield. Everyone within the class participated positively and really enjoyed their morning.
